Atheists, is there something in this world that is so heavenly in its nature that it made you reconsider?

I see how vast this universe is and am in awe of it all that even thought I don't believe in any gods anymore I at times find it difficult to grasp that no gods took part in any of it. What keeps me in check though is how imperfect some things are and science has helped point certain things out and has made religion look so childish and ridiculous with it's claims.
