Has anyone switched from Virgin to Sky since the infamous "lets get rid of sky programs" incident ??

How is the easiest way to get out of my contract with Virgin (formerly known as telewest) ... and sign up to sky, so i can get skyone back ... and more importantly Lost & 24 ??
