My Dad doesn't respect my beliefs?

Okay so I have a very difficult relationship with my dad. He is a Christian and I respect that. My belief system probably aligns most with Buddhism but I enjoy learning about other religions. I want to communicate with him but he keeps telling me that my mind is warped because I am not a Christian. He doesn't respect my beliefs and tells me I am feeding my mind rubbish. He tells me I'm brainwashed and that everything I say is not from me. Do you think there is any hope in having a proper conversation where he will respect my beliefs? What should i do? Often when I am at my most vulnerable and go to him for support, he uses this against me in a heavily condescending way.
