How do I get rid of my horse's fear of spray bottles?

okay whatever you do dont tie it to him or anything in his stall he could hurt himself. okay get a spray bottle and fill it with water hold your horse on his lead and spray the air around the stops where he freaks out and keep spraying until he shows signs of relaxing then soon as he relaxs start spraying the spots where he is shy and do that until he relaxs and just keep doing that for days and soon it should stop
