Okay so I want to get a Boerboel dog but my wife wants another?

Akitas in general are not good with other dogs. I used to train with a female that after living peacefully for 3 yrs. with an older n/m mix tore him to peices one night while the owners were out. And she was a Ch. show dog and had never shown any aggression at cl or at a dog show. The n/m mix was a laid back little guy who never had any aggression. I own 3 different breeds now, 5 MinPins, a Lab and a Dobe. I used to have a Gsd b4 the Dobe and have owned Rotties, poodles and fostered many different breeds.
