Question for LGB and T community?

I have a male friend who is straight or so he claims but wants to try himself. He has asked me if I would do him with a strapon and I told him no. He is not married and not dating at this time but he normally has rather attractive women on his arm and has a two month old son. He said he used a vibrator on himself but doesn't want to be with another man. As far as I can tell he doesn't have any feminine qualities for me to speculate that he is gay. What would you make of this? Do you think he is gay or just has a weird ?
