What do you think of this??? Any religion & Atheists?

I am really curious to see what everyone thinks of this. Well I was looking through the Bible the other day and I stumbled upon a verse that was really interesting It's Isaiah 40:22 and part of it says "It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the Earth..." The world's best scientists didn't know that the Earth was round until 1492. And that particular part of the Bible was written from 740 - 680 B.C. I just wanted to know what everyone thought of that. I'm not trying to judge. But what do you get out of that? If God isn't real, then why does it say that? Just curious. I don't anyone to think I'm being condescending.
