(basically any fruit that pairs well with cheese) you can slo do sweet and sour meat , stick a tooth pick in them to serve. This one is easy but not a "normal" appetizer for thanksgiving. Try slicing cubers, top off with a bit of salsa, goat cheese and a cherry tomatoe. So delicious!! One last thing, slice a baguette, toast quickly in your toaster oven or oven. rub a peeled garlic clove on each baguette disk, top with a sliced cherry tomatoe and a slice of fresh mozzerella cheese. (Not the pre packaged kind...the cheese found in it's own whey). Good luck!

My brother and I were having a debate about this today. He said it's because Voldemort used Harry's blood to resurrect himself therefore Harry couldn't really die, but that makes no sense. How does Harry's blood in Voldemort have anything to do with keeping Harry alive. It should only affect Voldemort. My theory is that Harry was a master of death because he was the true owner of all three Deathly Hallows. So when Voldemort killed Harry, the wand wouldn't kill it's owner so the wand only killed the PART of Harry that was the Horcrux, the part of him that was Voldemort. So Harry never really died, only the Horcrux did. So that's why Harry went into some sort of Limbo state. And he came back because he had mastered death by having all three of the Hallows. I have to fall asleep with music or the TV on every night. If it's silent, my mind races. The noise helps distract me so I can calm down. Also, I'm a light sleeper and noises wake me up pretty often, so having background noise to drown out other things is good.

How does the taxman consistently get my company car tax wrong ? ?

I am part of the PAYE tax scheme at 40% and receive a company car ( Mondeo 2lt tdci and fuel benift for business and private milage ) and the taxman tells me that I have underpaid tax in a previour year. My understanding is that the goverment set the taxation levels then the tax office work out your code then advise you of the coding for that tax year then they fleece you and rob you blind for the year. I can just about put up with that but to then be advised that having been fleeced for the year I have underpaid and will be fleeced further does not seem right!!

I'm not buying the hype with Phillip Rivers winning MVP. They're practically still in the worst division and Aaron Rodgers has identical numbers. If it weren't for the Packers defense, they would maybe have one loss. All the losses for the Packers came with Rodgers still putting up around 25 points or more a game. Rivers is playing great, but I think people have forgotten what Brees has done all season regardless of cooling off slightly. How does the MLB 2k11 throwing meter work FOR Ps3?

Anyone get MLB 2K11 on PS3. The game actually isn't that bad besides for a few bugs which they seem to be fixing. Pitching and hitting is pretty solid. I have overthrown 1B and sometimes 3B also all day yesterday until I figured they have a sensitive throw meter to throw runners out on ground . How do I unbrick a Linksys WRT54G v.5 router?

Hi, I was upgrading my Linksys WRT54G v.5 wireless router, and in the process of it my power went off. Now as I want to access my router page "192.168.1.1" I am unable to. The page would take awhile to load and then it would display an error page. Also the rectangular orange light that used to glow underneath the "Cisco Systems" on. I have tried holding down the reset on for 30 seconds and unplug it and plugging it back in while holding down the reset on for another 5 seconds. However I am still unable access my router page, I have also used "Draytek Router Tools" and all I have been getting with that was router was not responding. Power still flows in and out but the firmware is completely screwed. Now I don't know how to reinstall the Linksys firmware back into the router. Finally I tried chatting with an Linksys online support and she can't offer me any help because my routers out of warranty. Therefore I am asking if anyone knows how to unbrick a router without actually opening the router apart itself. Thank you very much for helping.

Pool safety for 15 month old?

I want to take my 15 month old swimming with me in a big pool so that I can get in with her (instead of just her kiddie pool). What is the best thing to help keep her safe? I have heard about swimsuits/wetsuits with flotation devices in them, and toddler lifejackets, but those start at around 2 years old. I will be holding he the whole time, but would like to feel a little more secure with her being in the water with me. Any advice?

Should I go back to the doctor about my thyroid nodule?

About a year and a half ago it was discovered that I have a thyroid nodule. One blood test last summer (2008) showed that my thyroid levels were slightly high, but not enough to warrant medication. These tests have been repeated several times since and have always come back normal. Last February I had an ultrasound which showed a nodule about 1 cm large. My doctor said he could biopsy it if I wanted to, to ease my mind, but he didn't seem that concerned about it so I declined. The past few weeks, I have had a cough and I always feel like I have phlegm in my throat, especially after I eat or drink. Also I occasionally feel a slight stabbing pain in the fleshy part of my jaw under my chin. Today I noticed a few enlarged lymph nodes in my neck, but I also had a cold last week so that may be why. Also I have had occasional chest tightness/shortness of breath and dizziness over the past few months that the doctor blamed on anxiety as my husband had it too. The cyst on my thyroid is large enough so I can feel it, but I can't really tell if it's gotten any larger or not. If it has, it is only slightly. There is no history of cancer in my family, but my mothers paternal grandmother had her thyroid removed when she was in her 20's (my age) but my grandfather was too young when it happened to remember why. I really don't like the doctor I have right now and I feel like he doesn't take me seriously so I'm kind of afraid to go back. He was not the one who did the tests on my thyroid, etc and I cannot see that doctor as I have since moved across the state. I know that thyroid nodules are rarely cancerous, but I am really scared. Do my symptoms warrant going back to the doctor or am I just being paranoid?

my daughter just got her first tooth 4 days ago and she did not fuss at all until yesterday, i think it was still coming through the gum, i bought teething tablets and they work amazing! you just put 2 pills under their tongue and it dissolves almost instantly. goood luck and congrats on the toothiee lol

Swollen Leg, But Not Lame.?

I have a 16 year old quarter horse mare that has clean legs. She now does english and jumps as well! She also lays down 3-4 times a day out side and again at night in her stall. One day, i was doing our daily groom when I saw she had a small lump on her leg where the suspensory ligament is. Its not hot, and the lump was squishy, but after being poulticed, became a little bit harder. She was NOT lame, but was sort of twisting her leg in a tiny bit (you could only see it if you were REALLY studying it, and this only went on for a day or so, 3 the most). I stopped poulticing and ive tried cold watering it 2 times a day for 15 minutes and liniment, but nothing works! My trainer says she probably twisted her leg and caused the tendon sheath to swell, but 2 weeks have ped and the bump has not gone away. When she lays down it the lump doesn't bother her, but when she gets up she favors it for a few strides and is fine again. I called my vet but he is coming out next week to do immunizations. Im going to have him check it out, but is does anyone know what it might be so that i have a clue of what to tell the vet? Thank you!

You are screwed.... Only thing you can do and cross your fingers is take out the battery and take the thing apart. There are screws that will allow you to remove the keyboard which will allow you to see where the soda has gone. Then you can try removing as much as you can but try not to have it running with soda in there...

Workout motivation via photographs?

Hey, I'm trying to amp up my workout motivation. I'm not unhealthy/out of shape, but I definitely could look better. I know lots of people put pictures up on their fridges/computers and what not as visual reminders to get to the gym and put down the nachos. My question, do you think it's better to have out of shape pics of yourself, pics of yourself when you looked great and want to get back to it, or pictures of celebrity bodies you want (within reason of course)? I haven't tried any of these things, just wondered if this has worked for anyone.

I have tried Vitamin E for my acne scars and it really has worked. I haven't kept up with the regimen lately but I intend to go back to it because when I was keeping it up it completely got rid of an acne scar I had. I've never woken up with more zits and I also have oily skin. Who feels really weirded out when they see stuff like "Rent"?

i saw some of rent on TV yesterday and the parts i did see just made me vomit. Dont get me wrong i like musicals, mostly the ones that have catchy tunes and good rhyming. In Rent i like the stevie wonder song but the ones that sounded improvised made me squeemish. Are there any good plays out there like Rent that are good and each song sounds like it was made from the ears of Mozart or Disney?

What is wrong with my fish?

Ok, so my tank's relatively new. It's still in the cycling phase, actually. I've been using a bacterial additive to help speed cycling, and i'm adding fish a few at a time. The ammonia's relatively low (not high enough to hurt the fish) and right now, i have a betta, a blue gourami, five small cories, and well... one cherry barb in there, and it's 29gal. I had five barbs, but four have died... every single other fish is acting completely normal, and the barbs were too, but one by one they've been dying. At first they have, like, these seizures, and then their stomachs turn white and they die. I have one left and it's acting perfectly normal, and so are the other fish, and the water is fine, so i don't think it's the water.... what could be wrong with them?

Well if you're looking for sports, you unfortunately are in town when inter league play is going on, so tickets are impossible practically from the box office. You could probably buy them ahead of time either on eBay, or from a scalper. But, if you have the money to put into it, it's worth it. You can make a good night out of a game, since you can hit up the bars in the area before and after play, and they will be tons of fun, packed with people and great food. If you're looking for some history, walk the Freedom Trail. I think the best museum to check out would be the Science Museum, you can get there on the Green Line. The weather should be great by then. . .If you have time, you might even think about going to Cape Cod for a day trip. Check out some of the beaches, and some great seafood! That is easiest if you have rented a car though. . . .Best of luck to you!

Snake bedding?

I recently acquired an eastern kingsnake and currently have him in a cage with paper towel substrate. I want him to have a more natural looking home. I know that he is more of a forest species and I was wondering if their is a safe kind of mulch I can use as a substrate. I realize that some mulches have additives and insecticides added to them. 2006 Scion XB Default?

I have been two months behind on my car payment to Toyota Financial for at least the 6 months possibly longer. Today I got a notice that if I don't become current by 1-14-2010 the loan will go into default. I have been an LPN for 22 years. I have been at this-job since February of 2009. The social worker took the call wrote everything down that the caller had said then she signed it and wrote the time. I was off work for 3 days and returned on a tuesday. I was starting my med p when I was called into the office and was shown the letter. I was taken to the E,R for a drug test and alcohol test and was told not to return to work until they call me. They called me on Friday to return to work on Saturday which I did. Problem is management continues to find mistakes andI am the first one they look at. If some one had done the mistake its O well. My employment never called the police or sheriff department to report the incident. I have no idea whats in my file they seem to be to busy to show me. Is their anything I can do? Or do I just go to work and be on pins and needles? I have a clean work history. I told the company my husband was wanted by the US Marshalls for violation of parole. He is a white collar criminal.

Actually, we don't have the resources to recover from disaster. We just borrow more money from China. Cartoons again: Do you remember?

Oh yeah! Saturday morning...I was always up before everybody just to watch cartoons. The morning usually started off with Bosco and then some quality time with Heckle and Jeckle. Afterward, some Mighty Mouse (the brave little tenor), and finishing off with Bugs. Saturday morning was the best morning, even if we had only 4 channels on that old TV. I got it all out of my system and then went outside to play the rest of the day.

How to deal with life when you have so many problems?

I know what you mean, I've been going through the same thing but mostly with my family. I also dropped out of school and I don't. Have motivation to do things I used to or to hangout with my friends. My family tells me they expect more of me which tears me down even more. I don't think you are being paranoid. Some things I do to get my mind off things is music. Music has helped me so much during the most painful. If not try to maybe read or write about your feelings. Just never give up. Another thing is I have looked more to god. I don't know if you are religious or not, but faith in my religion has given me hope and love when I felt no one else seems to care. I know we have never met but if you need someone to talk to or vent to. I'm a good listener. Just don't give up..I hope I have helped you in some way.

Should i let my Fiance get a cat?

My Fiance keeps pestering me to get a cat. He has had them since he was a baby, but i have never had a cat and aren't really that keen. People keep telling me that they're great as you can leave them for long periods at a time, as long as you have their food on a timer and they have water, but i'm still not convinced, as i have seen quite a few dead cats on the road in my lifetime, and that really puts me off, and i don't think it's fair to keep a cat constantly indoors. I also know of a lot of people who have cats that bring home little dead presents and i couldn't cope with that. I had told my Fiance that if we did get one, he would have to do all the cleaning up after it, which he agreed to, but he works late all the time, so i know i'd get stuck with it. I'm just not all that comfortable sharing my home with a cat. Do you think my opinion will change or should i stick to my guns?

How do i keep acrylic ear plugs clean?

ive been using acrylic ear plugs/taper from 12g to currently 2g and ive been cleaning them with 70% isopropyl alcohol pads and petroleum jelly as lubricant. ive learned that alcohol causes it to crack because its porous and also ive started using jojoba oil instead of vasaline. should i stop using the oil because its porous or should i ume that using both evens it out. if not what should i clean it with and is oil an ok lubricant or will it hold bacteria?

Is working three days a week neglecting my baby? Is needing 45 minutes at home to work out too selfish?

I have a three month old, and since he was born, I have not left his side except long enough to go to a haunted house in October, and an hour and a half last weekend to go to dinner with my husband. He is really fussy, and wants to be held almost continuously. I don't complain about that, cause I know soon enough he will be all over the place and not want to be held, so I cherish this time. What is frustrating though, is that I gained a lot while I was pregnant. I didn't worry cause I knew when I started running after I delivered I would drop it all. I thought I would be able to have my baby in front of the treadmill (in the fitness center of my apartment complex) while I ran. Not the case. He screams like he's been abandoned when I leave him in the bouncer (in front of me) for more than 5 minutes, and sometimes not even that long. So I hold him. I have even gained an additional 10 lbs cause all I do is sit on my but all day and hold him. All I ask of my husband is to watch him for 45 minutes so I can go run and take a shower afterward. He won't do it. Says the baby is my responsibility, and I knew what I was getting into. He says I need to get my priorities straight and not be so selfish. I returned to work this week, planning on working three 10 hour shifts. After the first day, I found out how hard it was for my baby to be without me that long, the next day, I rearranged my schedule so I was only working three 8 hour shifts. My husband said I could only work 2 days a week, period. Those two days his grandma would babysit the baby, and he wouldn't have to. I look in the mirror and cry sometimes because I am really overweight, and I feel frustrated because I have the drive to run, I just can't get there cause my husband won't watch the baby. He says I am selfish, and tonight he said he can't believe he married a woman that is such a selfish mother. I love my baby so much. I kiss on him and play with him and sing him songs all day. I am always reading to make sure I do things right. But is it selfish to want to get out of the house to work a couple days a week just for my sanity? To talk to adults, let alone that fact that two days a week won't cover my bills. I can't afford it. Is wanting 45 minutes away from my baby just so I can get healthy, shower, and even eat while I am not nursing really selfish? My husband gets to work out everyday, go run errands, go to the sports shop, etc. Am I being unreasonable to expect him to be more of a father than that? OR AM I CRAZY?
